My first time at YOU Salon in Seongsudong!

I visited You Salon in Seongsu with my friend at the opening hour which is 10am. Upon entering the salon, we were greeted by staff and they gave us gowns to wear and held our belongings safely in lockers.
I had booked a hair cut, and showed them a reference photo which helped a lot, but as they do the haircut your stylist will also tweak the style to match your vibe. My stylist was attentive the whole appointment, and during consultation she examined my scalp with the microscope and recommended headspa which was 140000 won extra. I accepted since my scalp was in poor condition full of build up and clogged pores. The headspa was absolutely relaxing and made the experience extra worth it. After the appointment my hair and scalp felt very refreshed, much needed since I landed the day prior.
They are very efficient and even serve you beverages and snacks as you wait, standard at hair salons in Korea. I would love to go back to You Salon as it was such a pleasant experience and I felt very taken care of. I recommend stylist Son MinKyung with your hair as she’s so talented!
If you’d like to go, I highly recommend visiting the day you land or the next day. Your hair will look great in photos for the rest of the trip. It is easy to find the salon as you get out at exit 4 on Seongsu station, where you will pass by an artbox and notice the back side of the largest oliveyoung. After walking through a few blocks and seeing beautiful design of buildings and trendy brand, the salon can be found on floor B1. You can take an elevator down.
