Too convenient airport railroad AREX

In the past, when it came to traveling to Korea, the mainstream flow was to take a tour and have a car pick you up at the airport, stop by the duty-free shop, and head to the hotel... but in that case, especially in the evening, Seoul is heavily congested, and it takes 2 and a half to 3 hours to arrive at the hotel from Incheon Airport... and the precious travel time is reduced💦

And that was often the case.

Before the pandemic, I also used Gimpo Airport and it didn't take long to move from Seoul, but after the pandemic, the travel expenses became quite high, so I only use LCC. In that case, the method of transportation becomes important.

I highly recommend the Airport Railroad Express (A'REX)! It takes just under 50 minutes to travel from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station, and all seats are reserved, so you can always sit comfortably!

And most importantly, you can purchase tickets in advance, which is more advantageous than getting them on the day.

When you arrive, you can choose the train you want to board at the ticket machine next to the airport railway A'REX, and you can issue the ticket just by scanning the QR code of the voucher.

Tickets can also be issued in advance on the A'REX website, but since it is unknown how long it will take from arrival at the airport to departure, it is better to choose the train you want to take after arrival.

Even if you haven't exchanged the currency yet, it's convenient because it's a credit card payment by advance reservation, so it's okay not to have won at Seoul Station.

And inside the car, you can get free mineral water, so after the announcement that goes something like 'we will distribute it from now on', if you see a female attendant walking with a small cooler bag, try calling out to her.

Also, one of the biggest advantages of this airport railroad A'REX is that you can check in and go through immigration at Seoul Station on your way back♪

Since you can check in, you can leave your suitcase at Seoul Station, and after completing immigration, you can go through security (baggage inspection) from the crew-only entrance without waiting in line for the airport arrival security inspection, so it doesn't take time!! If you have plenty of time until your flight, you can spend the rest of the time sightseeing without any luggage!

And it's okay not to arrive 2 hours before👌You can extend your sightseeing time to the maximum and enjoy a fulfilling trip🥹✨
