Seoul 5-day Trip2025-11-27 ~ 2025-12-01
I’m sure everyone knows that getting cosmetic procedures in South Korea has become one of the trendiest topics recently, and the penetration of aesthetic clinics in Korea is even higher than in Taiwan and Japan. It naturally makes people curious and eager to try! Creatrip’s on-site consultations provide a perfect opportunity to get reliable advice with peace of mind.
In Korea, people are so used to cosmetic surgery and minimally invasive procedures that seeing them on the street is normal, which shows how widespread medical aesthetics are. But after searching for Korean medical aesthetic clinics, the overwhelming amount of information can be really confusing. I happened to see that Creatrip was hosting an informational session for Abijou, and the medical tourism tax refund program was about to end. So I decided to make a push before the end of 2025!
The medical aesthetics information session had a clear process and the location was convenient to get to. Because of my schedule I had a consultation with the clinic manager. She was very kind and professional; during the consultation she raised many questions such as how to improve dark circles, and whether to choose radio frequency or ultrasound. Which treatment is suitable for me? Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. Reassuringly, the manager herself has undergone many treatments and her appearance is in great condition, which is very convincing. The information session also included many complimentary gifts — all skincare products made by Abijou and the German manufacturer, generously provided which made me very happy. There were sheet masks, soothing cream, and toner sets, each of which I used without irritating my skin and they were moisturizing. (The price list has been revised)

Actually, when I went to Korea before I also looked for a clinic to do the Ultherapy treatment, but overall I felt the consultant wasn't very attentive to the customer's skin condition and needs and only wanted to push courses for customers to buy. And compared to Abijou and Creatrip's super discounted promotions and transparent price lists, that clinic did not proactively provide a price list. So with Creatrip's screening and discount plans, it's really reassuring and cost-effective.
Abijou Gangnam has a new building and an original building; this time we were in the new building. The new building is a very large structure, the space is clean and spacious, and sparkling water, mineral water, and drinks from an arm robot are all provided free. The arm-robot drinks are really eye-catching, and the staff kindly guided me to use the tablet interface.

Before discussing the treatment with the manager, Mr. Ray, a staff member who provides Chinese translation, first guided us to have a skin analysis. It was a very novel experience, using a cano camera to photograph the front of the face and both sides. The assessment was divided into five categories: skin tone evenness, skin type, fine lines, structure, and radiance. The results were then discussed with the manager to choose the most suitable treatment. I suggest everyone read the article posted on Creatrip IG before leaving, which explains that the names of cosmetic procedures in Korea differ from those in Taiwan. The article also covers post-procedure repair products available at Korean pharmacies. Everything is described in detail, which makes it much easier to communicate with the consultant. Many thanks to the editor who wrote the article.
After discussing the procedure with the friendly manager, I went straight to the treatment bed to remove my makeup and have the anesthetic applied. Then the doctor came to perform the procedure. I should mention that I personally am completely not afraid of pain. So the procedures I had — Ultherapy, the Phoenix radiofrequency for the eye area, the Rejuran eye HB Red Box (less painful than the Black Box) for the eye area, and the golden microneedling — of these I felt the Rejuran Red Box the most because it’s more stimulating around the eyes and still made tears instinctively well up, but it wasn’t too painful. The golden microneedling felt like many tiny needles pricking in; it might be startling at first, but it’s not very painful. However, I think pain tolerance varies by person, and I haven’t tried the reportedly most painful Rejuran Black Box, so it’s best for everyone to consider their own pain tolerance and be mentally prepared.
Before each treatment, they will show you that the syringe and the probe to be used are brand new — everyone should remember to check. Also, the Thermage treatment comes with a certificate; for Ultherapy in the U.S., you need to check the clinic on the official website. With the Lijulan sheet mask, you can scan with your phone and fill out the form to get a free Starbucks Americano. If you have any questions, you can ask a consultant — Mr. Ray explained everything to us in detail. It’s worth mentioning that the Korean doctors and aestheticians work really fast! I only spent three and a half hours there; in Taiwan, medical aesthetic clinics offering only laser treatments usually take four to five hours.
After the treatment my condition was puffy, with lumps and redness under my eyes from the Liju Lan marks. Other areas were fine, and the big cretrip voucher can really be redeemed for lots of products like face cream, Regeneration Dual-Ultrasound aftercare, and sunscreen — all genuine. Super, super happy!

This medical aesthetic experience was a big success! I’m so glad I attended the Creatrip medical-aesthetics briefing, which gave me so many discounts and gifts — and, even more important, the clinic screening. It’s because of that that I had the chance to meet such a great doctor, a friendly and lovely manager, and the attentive, thorough consultant Ray. One last reminder: Creatrip holds medical-aesthetics briefings you should definitely attend! The deposit is refunded! It’s like getting the gifts and a free consultation for no cost, so be sure to take advantage of it!
