Seoul Gangnam Myungmok Eye Clinic

I accidentally discovered that Creatrip partners with a Korean ophthalmology clinic and offers very favorable prices. I had wanted to have laser eye surgery for some time (at that time I didn’t know I wasn’t eligible for laser surgery), so after completing an online consultation I signed up immediately. I went to Gangnam Mingmo Eye Clinic in Korea, and I felt very reassured as soon as I entered. Not only were the staff friendly, but the clinic’s examination equipment was very thorough, and the space was also very comfortable. The clinic is divided into three areas — examination, outpatient, and surgery — and all three areas were bright, clean, and comfortable. I chose Chinese translation services this time, provided by Mr. Zhu, who was very kind and patient in answering my questions. Being able to have the surgery immediately on the day of the examination was very convenient; of course I had booked an early morning appointment.
Before surgery_I had always worn glasses. Although I was used to them, they often caused inconveniences. For example, they would frequently get dirty and obstruct my vision, the lenses would fog up from steam when eating, and wearing a helmet while riding often pressed on them. Also, my eyes are light-sensitive; although my prescription glasses had transition lenses, the sun protection was never as good as sunglasses, and to wear sunglasses I would first have to wear contact lenses. Many such inconveniences.

After the surgery — on the same day — I actually recovered a lot and could look at my phone, type, and chat with friends. At night, headlights were a bit glaring, and touching my eyelids hurt a little because I had an ICL implant procedure with incisions. At first, for the week after surgery my eyes couldn't get wet, so I couldn't wash my face or hair, which troubled me. I solved the face-washing issue by buying makeup remover and cleansing wipes to clean my face. For washing my hair I initially bent over and washed very slowly, but I still got water in my eyes and panicked, quickly grabbing a towel to dry them, so I switched to washing with my head tilted back, which worked much better.
Current status: One week after surgery I personally have dry eyes so my eyes feel drier, so I need to frequently use artificial tears; when going out or riding a bike I need to wear sunglasses. I occasionally accidentally rub my eyes, and when I do I stop immediately. But not having to wear glasses all day and being able to see clearly is really convenient — I think this surgery is well worth it.
I have already recommended Creatrip and Mingmu Eye Clinic to many friends!
