Take passport photos in South Korea.

Next year, I need to renew my passport soon...
With a 10-year passport, the photo remains for 10 years. In Japan, machine proof photos are convenient, but not many people are good at taking them, right? Or is it just me who thinks that?
When planning a trip to Seoul at such times, I wanted to take a Korean passport photo (which they will edit in advance) that I heard about, as this time I can plan it freely in a one-day trip. I searched and found out that I can make a reservation on creatrip. There were several photo studios, but since the hotel I was staying at was Insadong, I made a reservation for the Uritonne Photo Studio in Jongno. There was also an option with hair and makeup, but this time I made a reservation for the basic passport photo (it was about 2860 yen in Japanese currency). On the day of the reservation, I went to the shop at the reserved time, completed the reception, and was given an iPad to make selections such as editing preferences. I checked to make my face look slimmer and my eyes bigger. I smiled.
I wanted the modifications to be natural, but it seems like they can even make changes to the point of looking like a different person. Since it's just a passport photo, it needs to be recognizable as the person.
By the way, input on iPad is fine in Japanese! Conversations with the staff are in English or Korean ONLY, and as someone who can't do both, I somehow managed to get through it.
After the photo shoot, they showed me the pictures I took and let me choose for myself. If I wasn't satisfied, I could redo it on the spot. (Though I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference since it was what it was, but I ended up redoing it three times.)
After the shoot, they immediately do the editing work and when the editing is partially done, they call me to check the images. If they're OK, then it's finished. It was good that it only took about 20 minutes from entering to finishing. They gave me four printed proof photos and sent the data to the registered email address. They also sent me something like a color diagnosis, which was quite good.
The finished product is essential, but compared to the original photo, wow~ the skin is beautiful and it gives a refreshing impression! However, it's not to the extent of looking like a different person, but I really like the natural feeling! It's something that I can use the same photo for 10 years and still be satisfied with.
In Japan, photo studio shoots are quite expensive, so it is recommended when traveling to Korea.
From the photo gallery, you can take a walk to Insadong and Bukchon Hanok Village, so it's a good idea to take some nice photos while sightseeing! There is also a hair and makeup plan, so if you can take lots of photos while still looking perfect, it will be even more wonderful memories!
