Seoul Abijou Aesthetic Journey

When I first arrived at the aesthetic clinic in Seoul, the environment immediately gave off a sense of comfort and calm. The clinic was spacious, bright, and well-lit, creating a relaxing atmosphere that made me feel at ease right away. After waiting for a short while, a staff member who spoke Chinese came to guide us through the initial steps, which included makeup removal and a skin analysis.

The makeup removal area was wide, tidy, and well-organized. There was enough space for several people to cleanse their faces at the same time without feeling crowded or rushed. Everything felt hygienic and professionally managed. However, we later learned that the doctor’s consultation room was located in the main building, so we were guided to walk there for the consultation session.
The doctor who met us was not only beautiful but also very professional and kind. What I appreciated most was her honesty—she didn’t try to push unnecessary treatments or products. Instead, she respected each person’s preferences and provided recommendations based on individual needs. This gave me a strong sense of trust and confidence in the clinic’s professionalism.
After the consultation, we were guided to a VIP room where the procedure preparations began. However, some of the equipment needed for my treatment was located in the new building, so I had to apply the numbing cream in the main building and then walk to the new one while waiting for the anesthesia to take effect. Although the distance between the two buildings wasn’t far, we still had to pass through some public areas. Personally, I don’t mind spending extra time applying numbing cream because I’m quite sensitive to pain. But for those who might feel awkward walking around with the numbing mask on, I would recommend asking the staff to apply it only after arriving at the new building.

Once the treatment started, the clinic’s director personally performed the procedures. I thought this was a great advantage because having one experienced doctor handle all aspects of the treatment ensures consistency and safety. The director quickly understood my pain tolerance level and adjusted the methods accordingly. The only minor drawback was that the Chinese translator was responsible for assisting multiple clients at the same time, so she couldn’t stay beside me throughout the entire procedure. Nevertheless, when it came to the final stage—the injection process—the translator stayed by my side the whole time. Her presence was incredibly comforting and reassuring, especially since I was a little nervous.
So far, it has been less than a week since the treatment, so the results are not yet fully visible. However, based on my experience, I feel very satisfied with how everything was handled. From the moment I stepped into the clinic to the end of the procedure, the entire process felt smooth, professional, and well-organized. The staff were attentive, the environment was comfortable, and the doctor’s approach was both ethical and considerate.
Overall, my medical aesthetic journey in Seoul was a positive and memorable experience. I appreciated the clinic’s attention to detail, from the clean facilities to the caring attitude of the team. Although there were small inconveniences—like walking between buildings during the numbing process—it was a minor issue compared to the quality of service I received.
