Korea University Language School Postscript Review 🌟

After applying for the Korean Language School at Korea University through Creatrip and coming to Korea, it has been over two months and we are already halfway through the course.
*I initially wanted to apply for a language school through Creatrip because of my busy work schedule and the convenience of paying in Taiwanese dollars without having to exchange currency or go to the bank. For those who are considering applying through the website, I recommend keeping an eye on the processing progress. If you go through an agent, the timeline may be slightly delayed compared to doing it yourself, but the advantage is that most of the required documents are already listed on the website. If the school requires additional documents or if there is any matter that needs to be communicated to the school but you are unable to write in the language, Creatrip would be a good choice.
🌟About Korea University Language School:
Class/School Environment: I can only say that the school is so beautiful💥, the first time I came, I thought I was at Hogwarts (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)
Course Difficulty: Moderate to High (The difficulty will increase slightly in the second half of the course compared to the first half), but with attentive class attendance and review, it can be passed✅
Exam format: quizzes, oral presentation, midterm and final exams
Nationalities in the class: Mostly Chinese, with an average of about half to two-thirds of the class having 12 to 15 people
Cultural experience: Each level of the course will have a half-day field trip (except for level 6 which is a short trip). This time we watched a theater performance near University Road, very interesting! Afterward, we can gather with classmates to have a meal and go shopping together :)

*Up to now, in my experience studying level 4 at the Korean Language Institute, Korea University's Language Institute places great emphasis on speaking. So there are many opportunities to practice speaking in class every day. Additionally, there is a time for individual consultations with the teacher during midterms and finals, where we can discuss our grades, strengths and weaknesses in each subject, how to improve, or any difficulties or needs in our daily lives. I think this is a very good system. I heard that the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing are taught by two different teachers. And because it is a prestigious Korea university, there is no need to worry about the quality of the teachers. They are all very good at teaching and patient. Extracurricular activities include the option to join exclusive clubs for foreigners and language exchange partners (local students), which are great ways to make friends during your time as a student!
*In addition, there are many study seats and resting areas on campus. Personally, I really like the small sofas in the library 🛋️

🌟If you have any plans after class, I highly recommend Korean buddies to explore cafes. There are many beautiful cafes in Korea and also a lot of delicious food. Most of my own plans after class involve exploring cafes or enjoying the scenery. If you happen to visit during spring or summer, the cherry blossoms and maple leaves are incredibly beautiful, making it perfect for leisurely strolling along the streets or in the parks.

🌟 Finally, I want to share the most important realization I have. Korea and Taiwan are two different countries, so when living in Korea or interacting with Koreans, it's important to remember to respect and adapt to the local culture, and don't forget to be polite when dealing with older people. (Korea values respect for elders more than Taiwan) ☺️ As long as you show sincerity and politeness, regardless of your level of Korean proficiency, Koreans will understand us and treat us kindly, offering help. I hope everyone can have a pleasant life in Korea. ❤️
