A day surrounded by teddy bears! Jeju Teddy Bear House

When you come to Jeju Island, besides the natural scenery and delicious food, there’s one must-visit spot in my opinion: the Teddy Bear Museum (Teddy Bear House)! Honestly, I originally just thought, “I’ll take a few cute photos,” but once I went in, I was completely charmed. By the time I left, my camera was full as always, and I had hundreds of new photos on my phone.

First, step into the world of Bear Bear 🐻
As soon as you walk in, it feels like you've fallen into a teddy bear universe. The museum displays all kinds of bears: vintage ones, classic ones, extra-large ones, and even little bears dressed in famous designer brands, all with super creative designs. What surprised me the most is that this place doesn't just display a few cute dolls—it actually uses teddy bears to 'act out' different historical stories and classic scenes. It's really great at telling stories.
There is an area called 'Historical Scenes,' featuring events like the moon landing, world-famous paintings, and even celebrity looks, all presented with teddy bears. It's both funny and impressive to see such creative designs. There's also a glass case displaying the most expensive teddy bear in the world—it's said to be worth over a million Korean won, which is truly astonishing.

Super photogenic! Both adults and kids go wild 🤳

I thought this place would be more suitable for children, but that's not the case at all! Adults can have just as much fun here. The exhibition areas are designed in a dreamy way, and every corner is perfect for taking photos. Whether it's a solo shot or a group photo, you can capture a different vibe.
Especially those 'moving Teddy Bear exhibitions'—some are playing instruments, some are dancing, and some are acting out the daily life of office workers. They are really so lively. I took videos and photos right away, and even when I look at them after coming back, I still feel very healed.
My favorite highlights ✨
Giant teddy bear: Just standing next to it makes you feel smaller, like stepping into a fairy tale.
History Theater: The little bears 'reenact' scenes from the Titanic and famous paintings—super fun.
Outdoor garden: Step outside the building and you'll find bear decorations. The sunshine and blue sky make photos look stunning.
The atmosphere is really relaxed

Although it's a museum, it doesn't feel 'serious or untouchable' at all. Instead, it's full of joy. Everywhere, parents are taking photos of their kids, couples are snapping sweet pictures together, and friends are playfully teasing each other. That kind of atmosphere makes you feel like you've returned to childhood—pure and happy.
I was originally worried that I might finish walking around too quickly, but I ended up staying for two hours and still felt it wasn’t enough. Especially when sorting photos, I realized I didn’t want to miss any section at all.
I think this place is perfect for family trips. Kids will be so happy they won't want to leave.
Also, whether it's sunny or rainy, you can fit it into your schedule. It's considered a very reliable, can't-go-wrong attraction in Jeju.

The Teddy Bear Museum really surprised me. At first, I just wanted to 'take a quick look,' but I ended up having so much fun that I lost track of time, and my phone got filled with photos. The best part was the bears' expressions and styles—just looking at them made me happy. It was truly a healing journey.
If I go to Jeju again, I will definitely visit again, because just thinking about that feeling of being 'surrounded by so many bears' in the museum makes me feel so happy!
