2025 Sanrio Cafes in Seoul

With the exceptional popularity of Sanrio in South Korea, there are multiple places in Seoul to enjoy the cute characters that so many people adore! Since I belong to that group, I visit every Sanrio place I can find. Therefore, I would like to write about cafes I visited recently, which are the ones that were open this year (and one of them, just a few days ago!).
1. Hello Kitty Apple Cafe

This cafe has been open for a few months, but I only got to try it now. It is located in Myeongdong.
As a Hello Kitty lover, this is heaven! The design makes you feel like you are in the cartoon. It is simply gorgeous. There are some photo spots and even gift shop on the third floor, where I bought some Sanrio goodies such as plush!

There is an on-site registration system, me and my friend only waited 5 minutes to enter. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and an apple dessert. It was absolutely delicious, although sweet desserts can make me sick easily, that one I ate fully and loved so much. The coffee was very tasty.

The staff is also helpful and kind. I highly recommend visiting! It will work perfectly solo, with a friend or with family and kids.
2. Cafe Harmony

This cafe had me particularly excited, as it opened a few days before my trip to Korea and it is also mostly pink, which is my very favorite color. Cafe Harmony was already open in Seoul and I have visited it two years ago, but it closed after a while, and now it seems to have reopened with a different design.
It was a little difficult to find, as it is located on B1 floor in the huge Lotte Mall, by the entrance to the Lotte World. But with the help of information desks, I managed to find it.
Earlier in the day, with on-site reservation I only had to wait 5 minutes to enter. Unfortunately I had to leave for a while and missed it, so doing the reservation again later, I had to wait for an hour. There is a gift shop available without any reservation, so I could shop a little while waiting.

They had a small selection of desserts and various drinks, I went for the Kuromi set - Kuromi tart and Kuromi Ice Chocolate drink. The dessert was very yummy and not too sweet. The drink was just pretty much chocolate milk, but it was good. I really liked the design of the table with plushies under. As a Sanrio lover, it was a great experience I recommend!

These are the newer Sanrio places (the older ones are Cinnamoroll Cafe and Sanrio Lovers Club) which I am both very happy with, therefore I recommend them to everyone, especially visitors with kids!
