Jiangnan Good Eyes Laser Surgery

I had already booked this laser eye surgery through creatrip back in July this year. After all, I had wanted to get rid of my glasses for a long time. At first, I was a bit scared mainly because, after reading a lot online, I saw many people share that their eyes felt very dry after the laser, or that there were other side effects, so I kept postponing the surgery. But when I saw the reviews for Gangnam Good Eye Clinic, I noticed that many people praised their experience after the procedure, so without hesitation, I booked my surgery for August 9. One thing that really surprised me was that I could actually have the surgery on the same day as the exam. I didn't hesitate and chose that option right away.

The environment was very bright and crowded on 8/9. Since I speak Chinese, I was worried about communicating the details, but the great thing was that there was a beautiful lady who acted as a translator. She would remind you and translate everything the doctor said to you at any time. It was really wonderful☺️

Very quickly, a series of exams began, including retinal thickness, eye pressure, and a bunch of very complex and precise tests. After the exams, the doctor will let you know if you meet the criteria for laser surgery. Once that's explained, you'll get to choose the type of laser. Of course, I chose SMILE Pro—smaller incision, fast procedure, and it even comes with a free Ultherapy treatment (for skin care). All things considered, it’s hard not to pick this one. The best part is it’s under 90,000 (of course, if you add anything extra, that’s additional).

Before the surgery, three rounds of anesthetic drops will be put in your eyes. During the procedure, a laser will be scanned first. You just need to stare intensely at the green dot you see. Even if it disappears, keep looking at the same spot. There is absolutely no pain at all during the whole process! Also, the director and many experienced doctors will be right beside you, so you can feel completely at ease. After the surgery, your vision might be a bit blurry, but you’ll be able to tell that distant things are already starting to get clearer. 😭

Next, you’ll go to the nearby New York pharmacy to pick up your eye drops. Although you can go home by yourself (don’t drive!), taking the subway or bus is still fine. Of course, it’s even better if someone can accompany you. When you get home, just rest and use the eye drops as instructed by the doctor. Follow the way your doctor told you, and the next morning when you wake up

Vision has already reached 1.0-1.1
Continue using the eye drops as instructed, then return for follow-up appointments (the doctor will tell you which days to come back). After that, take good care of your eyes—make sure to rest properly when using your phone or computer. Enjoy experiencing a world without glasses 🥰
