I'm a part-time worker girl who fell in love with Korea 🇰🇷
My days off are in Korea! At about once a month, I enjoy delicious food, hang out with my boyfriend, and make the most of Korea 😚🤍
This time I'm introducing a newly opened cafe in Tomigawa with cute Hello Kitty madeleines '아이라이킷히어(I Like It Here)'.
The café located near a residential area about a 20-minute bus ride from the station.
I went with my Korean boyfriend, but even with a map it was a little hard to find, haha
It might be a good idea to use the police station parking lot right in front as a landmark when looking for it 👀💭
It only just opened in May, so the interior is very clean.
There are six tables, one counter table, and one bench outside; it's a cozy little cafe.
The interior features a stylish white-based design, but the color of the furniture creates a warm, homey atmosphere.

There’s a large mirror and a small wall-mounted mirror, and of course you have to take photos, right? 😂😂
The menu is reasonably priced compared to other cafes, which is a key point
In addition to the Kitty Madeleine I wanted, it looks like they also have cakes like cheesecake and brownies that weren't in the showcase!
We ordered '라이킷라떼(Like It Latte)' and '크림소다(Cream Soda)' and '마들렌(Madeleine)'.
I made Kitty-chan's madeleines pink and white 🩷🤍
A moist, bite-sized madeleine with Hello Kitty's face drawn in chocolate.
The pink one tasted like strawberry and the white one was white chocolate.
I tried to cut and eat it with a fork, but the chocolate was thicker than I expected and was pretty hard, haha
The madeleines are moist but fragile, so support them with your hand when eating to avoid them falling apart (lol)
The cream soda had vanilla ice cream and a cherry on top, with a cute bow decoration.
Of course 🎀 is not chocolate or anything edible, so please do not eat it!
It seems they didn’t provide a longer spoon or a straw… it was tough to stir unless I drank about half first 💦

The cherries were seedless 🍒
The latte has a sweet cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and the latte itself is slightly bitter.
It looks like an affogato, doesn’t it? 🍨☕️
Both drinks I ordered were on the larger side, and the prices were reasonable, so that was great 👍🏻
It seems the color of the Hello Kitty madeleines varies by day, so next time I want to try the black Hello Kitty one.
They even had bear-shaped madeleines, which were super cute 🤍
We have cups available for drinks, so takeout is also possible.
The interior is spacious and quiet, so it's perfect for a girls' get-together or using for studying 👍🏻
Recently, desserts and cafes with Hello Kitty motifs like this have been popping up a lot in Korea, so I want to check out some other places too 🐈
It’s located away from Seoul, so you might not have many chances to visit, but it’s a cafe you’ll want to stop by at least once ☕️
