I brought my teenage sons to the cafe on a weekday. I booked the reservation the day before and it was super easy. The cafe is a short walk from Hongik University station and easy to find using NAVER. There are very clear signs on what you need to do when you arrive. There is a small entry way with lockers to store bags and shoes. You will put slippers on before entering the cafe. When we entered the staff was very friendly and happily greeted us in English. I showed them the reservation on my phone and let us right in.
Is there an animal smell, sure…. But that’s to be expected with live animals. It was smellier than having a dog live in your home. The cafe is kept very clean and staff was very quick to clean up any mess.
On the main level of the cafe there are foxes, raccoons, and one meerkat enclosure. The foxes and raccoon are let out in rotations. You can tell by the interactions from staff that they really care for the animals and genuinely love their jobs. The staff will give you small treats to feed the foxes and raccoons. They were very attentive and would frequently check in to make sure people were comfortable with the interactions. They gave very clear instructions on what to do if you were feeling uncomfortable.

On the second floor there are 3 meerkat enclosures that you can enter and enjoy time with the curious critters. There are also 2 wallabies, cats, and reptiles that you can interact with.
Again, the staff was very clear with procedures in the meerkat enclosures. They gave us a really good amount of time to sit and interact with the meerkats. They were very social and seemed to be very well taken care of.

We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely visit again!
