K-Beauty Treatment at Medicube Clinic

Had my first k-beauty experience at Medicube Clinic in Gangnam! It’s very aesthetic & has a clean interior. I was a little early, but they checked me in & asked for my passport. They hold onto it until after your consultation is done & you’ve paid the full amount. Since I chose the voucher when booking my appointment, I was able to get that discount in clinic & am also able to get a tax refund at the airport.
They then walked me to the powder room where there was a locker to hold all of my stuff & had me wash my face. Then they escorted me to another room to get my face scanned. After the scan, I went into another room to do the consultation. This lasted almost an hour.
I had a lot of concerns - hyperpigmentation, acne, redness, & lifting for my double chin. I was offered multiple choices for each of my concerns & I was able to pick which ones were within my budget. I did end up choosing more expensive options after it was explained to me more thoroughly (compared to the description on their website). After selecting my treatments, I went back to the front to pay, & then was lead to multiple rooms for all the different lasers/treatments. Because it can be a little bit painful, they do provide a numbing cream (lidocaine) & let it sit for 10 minutes. Most of the treatments were painless, but the one that hurt the most is the Rejuran microneedling. Thankfully, after that they provide cooling orbs & a cooling face mask right afterwards.
My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 am & I finished around 1:15 pm.
I was a little nervous about the treatments, but I’m really happy I went through with all of them. I’m excited to see the results in the next coming days/weeks.
Everyone was so kind & professional. Dr. Choi was able to speak English as well & made sure I was doing okay during the laser treatments. I’m overall very pleased with Medicube Clinic in Gangnam!
