It’s a shame I didn’t take many photos, but I put together a list of hidden gems where I had truly delicious meals on Jeju Island. If I ever get to travel to Jeju Island again, there are so many restaurants and cafes I’d love to visit.
1. View of the Sea Pork, Panpo Branch (바다를 본 돼지 판포점)

The first place I want to introduce is “Panpo,” a pork specialty restaurant with a breathtaking view right in front of the ocean. The best deal is their lunch set, limited to 100 people, for 18,000 won per person. Along with black pork, it comes with a seafood hot pot and hot stone pot rice that you mix with abalone innards sauce. It’s seriously delicious. I’ve heard it’s a well-known hidden spot that only locals on Jeju Island know about.
Address: 1F, 16 Panpo 1-gil, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju, 바다를본돼지 제주협재판포점
2. Gukdam (국담)

The next place is “Gukdam.” In Korea, there’s a system called the “Blue Ribbon,” where bloggers recognize great restaurants, and this place has been selected as a Blue Ribbon restaurant. It’s an elevated, modern take on Jeju’s traditional <pork gukbap>. It’s not too greasy and has a clean, light flavor, so it suits foreign tastes like mine too. The <yujireum guksu> made with sesame oil was also really good.
Address: 17 Sindae-ro 12-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju
3. Randy’s Donuts (랜디스 도넛)

They have a location in Seoul, and there’s also one on Jeju Island, it’s “Randy’s Donuts.” More than anything, it’s famous for the amazing view from the cafe. Of course, the donuts are just as good as in Seoul. Like in Seoul, there’s usually a line and it’s very popular (average wait time: 10 minutes). I couldn’t take a photo, but the iced latte was tasty too. Personally, the Jeju matcha cream donut was the best.

4. IEF Cucina (이에프쿠치나)

Here’s an ocean-view Spanish restaurant called “IEF Cucina,” located on the east side of Jeju Island, right in front of Hyeopjae Beach. Of course, you don’t have to eat Spanish food on Jeju Island, but I recommend it for anyone who wants a romantic, date-like atmosphere. The ocean view is really beautiful. The food is delicious too, especially the wood-fired pizza, it’s seriously amazing.
Address: Room 202, 2F, 450 Hallim-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju
That’s my list of hidden gems where I ate really well on Jeju Island, even though I don’t have many photos. If I get the chance to travel to Jeju Island again, I definitely want to go back. There are still so many more charming restaurants and cafes on Jeju Island, so I’m already looking forward to my next trip. If you’re visiting Jeju Island, be sure to check these places out!
