Sending everyone a one-day itinerary in Suwon, the city next to Seoul, about an hour away from central Seoul by public transportation.
Traveling in the area of Seoul, there are many beautiful cities to explore, the closest being Suwon, with many places combining modern and traditional Korean architecture.
Sending everyone the 1-day schedule to Suwon.
- Morning transfer to Starfield Library Suwon, visit and check-in. The library has a cute summer event for kids, convenient for families with children to check-in and for kids to play.
- Lunch: Dine at the traditional stir-fried chicken restaurant next to the library, only a 3-minute walk away. The stir-fried chicken restaurant is very delicious and highly rated on Naver, and not spicy at all.
- Early afternoon:
📍Move through the street behind Hwaseong Fortress to check in at Choi Ung's house, move around to see the café street, check in at the garden behind the fortress wall.
📍Visit Hwaseong Fortress
📍Visit Wolhwawon Garden, a garden designed in Chinese architecture, going to Korea but checking in with a Chinese vibe, gentle and ancient, but a bit small.
The places above are free to enter and not too crowded
Moving, we travel by private car, then we stop by Seoul for shopping and have a traditional Korean dinner. At 8 PM, we visit Hongdae Street for a nighttime stroll, enjoying food and drinks until the end of the day.
