A wonderful place for cat lovers!

Besides the attractions, museums and parks, Seoul has some great places that I really love to visit - cat cafes.
I recently visited one of the most popular ones, Roof Cat Me in Hongdae. This is a new cafe that opened in 2024, but has already become quite popular. The cafe is located in the city center in the popular Hongdae area.
Once you go down the steps (the cafe is located on floor B1), the cafe is easy to find thanks to its picturesque decoration.
Right at the entrance to the cafe there is a souvenir shop (naturally, cat themed). In my opinion, it is a great idea to buy a souvenir or a gift. For example, I bought cute socks with cats.
The café is also currently running a great promotion: post your review on social networks and receive a keychain with a cat as a gift.
Then I went up the steps, leave my things in the storage room and wash my hands.
And finally I got to paradise for cat lovers! The cafe is large and consists of several rooms located on 2 floors. The whole cafe is built in the style of a house under the roof, as if you were in a country house.
At first I entered the first room, the Garret Room. This is a large room that imitates a cozy living room in a house in the attic under the roof.
And of course, there are cats all around who feel at home. After all, this is their home, and we are just guests.
All necessary conditions have been created for the cats: there are drinking bowls, beds, scratching posts and houses all around.
For visitors, there is also a special area with "green grass" and tables where you can sit comfortably, enjoy drinks and admire the funny cats.
Then I went down the stairs to the lower floor of the cafe. There are cats all around here too..
Right next to the stairs there is a separate room with a drink bar. Unlimited drinks, you can drink as much as you want. The bar has a machine like in a cafe, where you choose drinks to your taste. There is a cooler with water, different types of tea, different glasses, lids, straws, etc. A great idea that makes visiting a cafe even more enjoyable!
With a glass of aromatic chocolate, I headed to the central and largest room of the cafe. Along the way in the corridor there are also many cats in cat houses, on furniture and even in a hammock under the ceiling.
The largest room is designed in the style of an inner courtyard. In the middle is a fountain in the form of a cat, in the center is a "cat hotel" with bowls for food. For visitors there are tables and chairs, an area with "grass", and you can also sit along the pool, enjoying drinks and petting cats. The sound of water, funny cats and a beautiful interior - what could be better for relaxation!
The interiors of the cafe are very well done. It seems as if you are in a small charming town with many houses, a courtyard and streets. Every detail is carefully thought out. Around there are imitation roofs with red tiles, which gave the name to the cafe.
To the left of the central courtyard there is a large room with a fireplace and Christmas decor. Very cozy atmosphere, you can sit in front of the fireplace in an armchair and drink various drinks.
To the right is another room that imitates an attic. There are also tables here, "grass" where you can sit with drinks next to the cats.
There are about 40 cats in the cafe. They are all different breeds, and there is a story of each of them on the wall. It is wonderful that all the cats look very clean, well groomed and healthy. Visitors are required to treat the cats with care, and must not disturb them while they sleep or pick them up.
Twice a day at 13:30 and 18:30 the cats are fed, which is very interesting to watch. At the signal of the employee, all the cats run to their "hotel", where each has a separate room and a separate bowl. And everyone starts eating together.
So I spent a wonderful time in a beautiful cafe, enjoying delicious drinks and communicating with cats. I recommend everyone who loves cats to visit. I plan to visit this cafe more than once.
