Hi everyone! This time, I found a wonderful spot on Korea’s Jeju Island , and I wanted to share my experience. The name of the place is Duke Surf Bistro .
First of all, I have to tell you that their draft beer is genuinely delicious. It went down so smoothly, and the refreshing taste was perfect.
You might be wondering, “Why should I eat British fish and chips on Jeju Island?” but I recommend it because it is that good. Duke Surf Bistro’s fish and chips have an incredible flavor you can only experience on Jeju Island, and I really hope you try them at least once. These amazing fish and chips are guaranteed to become a memorable part of your Jeju Island trip.
Of course, let me tell you more about the fish and chips. First, the fish is surprisingly fresh, and its rich flavor spreads in your mouth. Then the batter on the outside has the perfect balance, giving you that delightfully crunchy texture. One bite and you will be hooked on that crispiness. That is the best part of fish and chips, and it is exactly why Duke Surf Bistro’s version is so special.
And when you eat that crunchiness with a draft beer, it gets even better. From the moment it hits your mouth, the crispy batter pairs with the beer’s foam, creating an unbelievably satisfying taste. This fish-and-chips-and-beer combo is like a perfect match, and once you try it, I am sure you will not forget it.
In the end, the fish and chips were so good that I ordered another one.
And yes, the fish and chips were outstanding. The fish was super fresh, and everything was fried perfectly crisp. When I ate it with draft beer, I got to enjoy the best combination. It was so good that it made me want to taste it all over again.
However, the tacos were a bit too spicy for me, so they were hard to eat. If you are not good with spicy food, they might not be the best choice.
The inside of the restaurant is not very large, but it has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Also, it is a fun detail that the owner is a surfer.
