'Seoul Charm Series'
Seoul Forest was an unexpected highlight of this trip, really enjoyable to explore. In addition to the shopping experience created by each store, the coffee shops are so beautiful that I want to go into every one of them. Because Seoul Forest is so easy to navigate, I spontaneously changed my itinerary and decided to have dinner here. I immediately looked up places to eat on Naver and chose #swedenpicnic, which had high local ratings.
Because it is a restaurant where locals eat and has high ratings, we had to wait for a table during mealtime. Since we didn't have a Korean phone, we were communicating continuously. Just when we were about to give up, the waiter came up with the idea of contacting us through Instagram when there was an available table. Later, we found out that he contacted us through his personal Instagram account. It was a pleasant surprise and very touching. He could have simply said sorry and turned us away, but he didn't. Instead, he chose to contact us through the hassle of Instagram. It really moved us. The food at #swedenpicnic didn't disappoint us either. #Beef Stir-Fried Rice Cakes with Bean Paste
Beef Jajang Tteokbokki is the best fried rice cake I've had in Korea after going there more than 20 times. In addition to the plentiful beef chunks and flavorful fried sauce, it takes this common street food to another level. If you have the chance to visit their restaurant, make sure to order a bottle of wine, #SwedenPicnic. The wine served in the restaurant is made using organic methods and amazingly, a 650ml bottle of organic wine only costs an average of 43,000 Korean won. It's truly a great deal. If you have friends coming to Seoul, don't miss out on this place.
Also, when ordering using creatrip's coupon, the restaurant will also give you soybean powder ice cream, which is great.
