The largest city in South Chungcheong Province, Cheonan, is home to the Bread Stone Oven Village.
Went with two kids and mother, spanning three generations.
About 15 minutes by taxi from the city center.

As the name suggests, various bakeries and cake shops have come together to form a single village.
The area itself is not that large, and you can take a leisurely look around in about 30 minutes.
The first place we went to was the store with the most variety of bread.

'Toujours Pastry Shop'
The blue entrance is a landmark.

The shop is filled with delicious freshly baked bread!
We went around 2 PM, but there were still a lot of breads.

Here, I bought salt bread, yakisoba bread, and anpan. The mentaiko salt bread was especially delicious! The salt bread was also very chewy, and the children who love salt bread ate about two pieces each. They put the purchases in such a cute paper bag.
There is an eat-in space on the second floor and in the basement.
Next, take a walk around Pan Village.
The weather was nice that day, and it felt really good.

The buildings were cute, like something out of a fairy tale.
This building in the photo was like a museum where you could learn about the history of bread and see the process of making azuki beans.
Next, we headed to the bread café for a break.

There were the first floor, the second floor, and terrace seating, making it very spacious. Here, we had fig cake, pizza, and plum drink inside the store.

And finally, the last place we went to was the 'Kids' Bakery' next to the bread café
Of course, you can eat bread inside the store, and there is also a small experience space where you can try operating a thresher or touching bread dough.

The children were also engrossed and having fun touching it.
They also sell real cookie-making sets and tart-making sets, and when you make deco cookies, they bake them for you on the spot.
We also tried making cookies.

The price was 18000 won per set, and the required time was about 1 hour.
What shape should we make? It looked like they were having so much fun♡
There was also a slide outside, and the kids were thrilled!

It was very tranquil and every place we went was wonderful. We felt so comfortable that we ended up staying for about 3 hours.
For bread lovers, it's about an hour from Seoul by ITX, so it's easy to access, making it a recommended option for a slightly different trip to Korea.
