Just listening to Chunhwadang reminds me of my enjoyable trip to Mokpo. I liked the clean and warm room, the front yard of the hanok, and most of all, the cafe in front of Chunhwadang. I want to drink welcome coffee again while listening to classical music. All of the restaurants recommended by the friendly owner were the best. This is a Hanok stay that I want to go to again when I go to Korea.

It's near Mokpo Station, so it's a great location for travelers on foot. We also provide breakfast in the morning and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a hanok! I think the price is reasonable too. However, since it is a house that is over 100 years old, there are sounds like wooden floors and sliding doors, but I found this refreshing!

It is an atmospheric lodging with a very well-maintained hanok that is almost 100 years old, an outbuilding next to it, and most importantly, an impressive cafe. It's not immediately noticeable as it's located in a narrow alley in the old city, but it's surprisingly quiet and secluded. The quality, cleanliness, and atmosphere of a house depend on how the person inside it maintains and cares for it, so the feeling of Chunhwadang completely resembles the owner of the house. The breakfast is simple, but the ingredients are carefully prepared. If anything, I wish the coffee had a little more flavor. The cafe is quiet and softly infused with the energy of agarwood. The ceilings are high, quiet classical music is played, and calligraphy and paintings are hung on every wall, making it a place where you can relax comfortably whenever you get the chance. The garden will also become more vibrant with careful care and flowers blooming. I am glad and grateful that there is such a cultural accommodation in Mokpo. Find out the origins of this house that used the herbal medicine store sign as its name.
