PRO: Clean, updated/modern, comfy beds, cozy room and hotel ambiance, strong wifi, free water bottles in the rm, has a big storage room for snow gears dowstairs, CU convenience store close by, nice view of the surrounding area, restos close by, free buffet breakfast, great value.
CON: Only 2 elevators in the entire hotel, which can get congested during "rush hour", its like waiting on a lift line on a weekend. Not very nice/accomodating staff.
RECOMMENDATION: Highly recommended if skiing/snowboarding if you can afford it.5

My room at 510 at the Phoenix Pyeongchang hotel in the Soop Package. The room is basic but very clean and the mattress is very firm. My view was towards the hills which was nice to wake up to.
The rooms aren't soundproof but it was quiet by midnight and I slept well.
I loved the gifts that are included in the package!4

Overall excellent experience!
The room was nice, buffet included in the package we bought. The lobby was cozy and nice.
The hotel concierge could speak some English.
The buffet had a variety of food, mixed Western and Korean food. You get the flexibility to choose whether you would like Lunch or Breakfast Buffet everyday. (The only problem is the food is almost the same everyday.)
Free mineral water was also provided in rooms. Unfortunately there is no room service but that does not change my view of this hotel.
There was also free wifi and a great view of the mountain!!!
The only sad thing is, if you request for extra pillows you have to pay extra. In the hotel I stayed in Seoul, it was completely free.3

I have a good staying with 4days conference here, and it snows outside with beautiful view.
The room is a little old and gym is too small but good to sleep here. Anyway it’s recommended to visit here with ski activities.2

The location is the only good part about this hotel. For the price, the room is not worth it. All the charging ports and cables are broken, the pillowcase has chunks of dust, and toiletries must be paid if used. Service is also not very pleasant, the problems were not fixed and even the phone communication is quite janky. This was just the experience I had in my room, it may be different for others. Thanks!
