This beach is perhaps one of the most iconic beaches in all of Korea. Atleast for foreigners. People on this beach surf all day long and then party all night long. It's crazy, but in a good way. This place has a very cool vibe and everyone around this beach speaks English, which is very rare in Korea. There are lots of beach side shacks and lots of publically available beach side seating options and restrooms here. A must visit on the Korean east coast.

This cafe has a great view of the ocean ant it's great to take pictures. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the second floor due to COVID-19, but the view would be better if I went to the second floor. I liked the exotic atmosphere

Great vibes, having spent most of my life in a tropical island I can definitely recommend here as your get away from the busy Seoul. Whether to surf or just chill, plan a two day trip!

Surfy Beach is a fun place to hang out and enjoy the sun and atmosphere. During the day, it's a good spot for families. If your young and single, it's a great spot to see and be seen by the opposite sex. On weekends the restuarant/bar turns into a club. It's a great place to have fun at the beach, but it's not a very good place to learn how to surf; the 'surfing lessons' are terrible. If you're wanting to learn how to surf you are better off learning elsewhere. If you already know how to surf, than it's the luck of the draw as far as the waves go.
