Chill, modern vibe is an interesting juxtaposition to the Hanok village directly behind and accessible from the lobby. Amenities and shops are great. Pool is pretty magic. Rooms are modern, well set up, and comfortable. Breakfast is fine. Very fun little black and white "photo booth" sticker maker in the shop, and the shop merch is super cute.

No a/c or heater during winter months. Checkin to my room feeling suffocated as it was extremely warm. Thermostat in the room showed 28 degrees. Reception sent a staff with a portable table fan and also told us to open the window (about 2-3 inches wide) if needed. Note: That night’s temperature was -3 degrees. Can’t stay in the room during daytime as it’s really too hot. Main issue that concerned us most is the ‘Safety Issues’ of the hotel. On the wall near the window, there are 2 big hooks and 2 big bundles of ropes on the floor. At first we were puzzled what was that for. Then realised it’s for emergency escape through the window during emergency. Causes some anxiety in me. The 2 lifts that were serving the whole hotel were slow. Didn’t see signs of any stairs around. Even people on 2nd floor had to wait for lifts. Especially slow during checkout time. Waited about 20mins before we could finally get in. Excellent location as the back exit enters Jeonju Hanok Village. Room was spacious. Stayed early Dec 2023.
