You should try traditional Korean food if you visit to Gyeongju city. It’s literally difficult to find a place to eat for one person(alone).
BUT if you are alone, you can order and eat alone here! B/c there is a menu for alone. It’s called “나홀로정식(11,000won) which is second one at the menu.
This is super super crazy! Healthy, fresh, not salty, good price, a lot of side dishes.
I highly recommend here for lunch or dinner in Gyeongju :)

Just Wow! We had a wonderful experience here. The owner is really friendly and explains everything, while speaking perfect english. We sat in a room in the backyard where you had to take your shoes off.
We ordered two bibimbap, one Buchimgae and a bottle of soju for 34.000 Won total, a fair price for the amount of food we got
Both the Bibimbap and Buchimgae were a 10/10 and made us full.
Defenitly come here for authentic korean food!! 😄

English speaking personnel. Great option for vegetarians. Especially given how hard it's to find anything vegetarian in Gyeongju. Highly recommend.
I received bibimbap and tofu soup with some side dishes.

A very inconspicuous but very very good restaurant.
Already at the beginning we were greeted very friendly by the owner and everything was explained in detail. The man spoke very good English, but was also happy when we spoke a few words of Korean.
The food was very rich in quantity and also in variety and especially suitable for vegetarians.
The price per person was phenomenal (about 12000 won), because the quantity was very large as I said.
This restaurant is highly recommended!

One of the highlights of my day trip to Gyeongju. The very kind owner explained everything in English and was interested in where I was from. They're happy to serve solo diners. There's so much food and it was delicious. I hope I get to return one day!
