Worth a visit if you are in the area or if you want to pray specifically to there. If you do want to visit, ensure that you map a few other things around the area to make the time worth while. If not pretty much the same as all the other temples.

One of the “Sansa” buddhist temples in Korea recognized as UNESCO heritage site, Bongjeongsa is a small temple that is serene and quiet. Located not too high up on the mountain, if you arrive here with a car you can drive up to the entrance. Otherwise, the walk up to the temple from the gate is not too far either. There is no entry fee anymore (it’s been removed by recent law change), so free to tour around. However, as others say unless you specifically came here for a reason or wanted to see this temple, I would skip it. Not too much to see, and similar to other temples. Buseoksa temple (부석사) is more grandeur and larger than this temple, recommend going there if you want to see a temple.

Very pretty temple with a lot of history. Has on site what is believed to be the oldest wooden structure in Korea. The location recognized by the United Nations as historical site. Many temple were destroyed in Korea due to invasions and war but this one has keep some of the original buildings. There is no fee to enter and parking is not an issue.

It's under construction.. A Lot of dust and noise but many people. In the 극락전, some people pray for the wishes, so not easy to look around inside. Maybe get another chance to visit again without notmany people, after the renovation. .
