We stayed in a Mountain Deluxe room and we're very satisfied with the size and comfort. The staff were polite and managed well with my poor Korean.
Close to local tourist attractions like the Seorak National Park and Jungang Markets (say a little over 15 mins drive).
In addition to the adjacent beach, there was also a small playground and a half court for basketball out in the car park which my kid loved.
The breakfast buffet was not astounding. Just adequate.

This resort has beautiful beaches and is very accommodating to travels worldwide.
There is a bakery, gift shop, and international buffet that caters to those picky young ones. Your kids will love the robot strolls though when called. For the adults, all you can drink beer 😜
Additionally, the bakery has a great assortment of yummy treats to satisfy your tastebuds and shop has imported adult beverages.

Best location to access the many good tour sites, and it has a nice sea spa.

From my perspective as a foreign tourist, the hotel was fine, but very little English was spoken and my family all felt that the hotel seemed a bit "industrial." The room was comfortable and we liked the kitchenette, heated floors and balcony overlooking the ocean. We were a couple plus 2 kids, and we assumed there would be beds for us all. The kids had to sleep on thick pads which we pulled from the closet, which was fine but I don't know if that was clear during the booking process. The restaurant onsite and most of those nearby close at 9 pm, so either plan accordingly or head into Sokcho city for more options. We enjoyed the beach and the electric tricycles for rent. We didn't have the breakfast buffet because it seemed too expensive and we weren't sure what all was offered, but there is a cafe downstairs which has sandwiches and pastries. Great, quiet location from which to explore nearby attractions such as Seorak National Park and the DMZ.

A great location on the beach. I couldn't rate higher as the in house restaurant wouldn't seat our family as we were a group of 7. Even though we had 2 rooms booked. They told us they would only seat half of us and the others would have to leave and come back later to eat. Put a real dampener on our trip not being able to sit and eat with family.
