This is a really lovely art museum and pieces quite original. Children seem to enjoy as some pieces were interactive with great photo opportunities. You maybe tempted to go here on a rainy day but you may miss the view at the top and outside art may not be seen as their best. All exhibits beautifully displayed4

It's a nice art center with a beautiful sculpture park. We liked it but something is absolutely missing: at least some information about the sculptures and pieces. The meaning behind it. What artist it was. What kind of thought he / she puts into the work. It was just looking at things sometimes with questionmarks in your head. You can get the feeling that people rather go there to take instashots than admiring good pieces of art.4

The outside of the building with all the photospots (queues) and the distant ocean as a back drop, the metal walkways and arches made for amazing photos and I was glad I went for those but honestly I don't understand the inside. I have been to many world class galleries and art museums, from the small to the large and this was like they stuffed every piece of art they owned or were exhibiting into every conceivable space. Some sculptures were being used as display spots for other seemingly random bits and pieces. Was this the intention of the museum and I'm just not getting it or what??
If you go using the buses, take care as the schedule displayed at the bus stop to return to Gangneung did not match.
