The 4 star rating is mainly for the location. It's right at the head of the bay and there are great views all around across the water to the green mountains. The beach in front of the hotel is a pebble (stone) beach, but it is still nice. There are short sandy stretches to the left and right. The hotel itself is pretty standard. The room was a decent size and things, including the bathroom, were clean. No restaurant in the hotel these days. Not much to eat in the area in general, but that's not the hotel's fault. There is a swimming pool and the hotel offers barbeque locations and materials. Just be sure to bring your own things to cook. Stores are lacking in the area, too. All in all a decent place to stay. Also, be aware that public transportation is definitely lacking on the island.

Make a reservation through here I went to visit and originally reserved two rooms. But after looking at the number of people we had, they decided to give us one large room on site. It was nice that they moved to the 5th floor with a better view. The breakfast was clean and delicious, like home-cooked food.

It's an old place so there's nothing to say about the facilities. The sunrise is amazing. Breakfast was 10,000 won, and everyone in the family was satisfied. I think it would be even better in the summer because the beach is right in front. I am willing to come again if it is just for lodging.

The view from the room was the only thing that we liked (which was fantastic). Its clean in terms of the floor is swept. However. The towels & duvet had hairs in it... looked liked they were not fresh~ and there was mold on the window & bathroom door.
