We spent several nights at Stay Interview in Gongju and it was perfect. We were visiting Korea from America and traveled throughout the country from Seoul down to Busan staying in various hotels, inns and Airbnbs. None had the charm and convenience and high level of cleanliness and service as the Stay Inn situated atop the Interview Coffee Shop in Gongju. The location was perfect--a short walk to the market, the historic national park (a Unesco site), ancient fortress and Royal tombs, etc. We also found wonderful places to eat right nearby, and of course simply being able to walk downstairs to find a morning coffee or afternoon drink and snack after a day of touring was a special treat. We have traveled around the world and have stayed in many many places--none better or more welcoming and comforting than this absolute gem. If you are going to be in this area of Korea book your stay here in advance because it is small and the rooms can get booked up quickly.5

Recommended for those who want a quiet rest!
Please provide 2 free cups of Americano at the cafe on the 1st floor during your stay.
The accommodation is clean and emotional.
There was a pretty cafe nearby and the Geumgang River wasn't far away, so it was nice to take a walk.2
