The owner, Mr Kang, is the most amazing host I have ever met - made us felt welcomed, drove us to the clinic area because I had an acute throat inflammation and dropped us at the bus terminal after we checked out. Language barrier was minimal because we could communicate easily using translation apps on our phones. The owner designs and maintains the lovely garden on his own, which is pretty impressive.
The building is right beside a paddy field and that was another new experience on its own - very peaceful place to recharge. Breakfast includes fruits, eggs, milk, juice, coffee and ramyeon - simple meal in the picturesque environment was certainly very enjoyable. Short walk to a bus stop that can get us to the main food street and the centre of the tourist spots so that's great. Great hanok experience all in all!5

Great place to stay in Gyeongju. The place is beautiful and located pretty close to the main attractions.
The room was nice and clean, facilities in good shape.
The host was very friendly, spoke some english and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.5

A great Korean house experience; the owner manages the courtyard with care, the room is very clean, and all the necessary supplies are available. The breakfast is simple and clean, and the boss is very kind. It is highly recommended!
