Although it is not large, it is home to the Ipopa tree, a precious natural monument, and is carefully managed at Gwangyang Yudang Park.

It's great to take a 20-minute walk with your partner or family after lunch.
It is a place with many stories to tell, with the Cheonyeom Monument, a pavilion and pond, and a monument to the police and soldiers who protected our hometown during the war.

A nice and spacious place for a walk.
Although it is under construction, it is good for taking pictures except for some parts (as of February 9, 2020).
However, because it is across from Gwangyang-eup Rotary or a traffic road, accessibility is poor.
Rather, it has a quiet atmosphere and there are police stations and security cameras nearby, so it has a safe atmosphere.

Yudang Park (Willow Pond Park), located behind the intercity bus terminal across from the Gwangyang-eup 5-day Market, is a neighborhood park with the natural monument ‘Gwangyang-eup Water’.
In 1547, the governor of Gwangyang built Gwangyang-eupseong Fortress and planted trees surrounding the town as windbreaks to block salty sea winds and to block the view of Japanese pirates. Among them, 26 trees in the park and 40 trees remaining in nearby Inseo-ri. Collectively, they are said to have become natural monuments under the name ‘Gwangyang-eupsu and Ipopnamu (Rice Tree).’
The group of 16 monuments includes the Jeonla Gwanchalsa Temple and Gwangyang Hyeongam's Seonjeon or Jeongryeo Monuments scattered throughout Gwangyang, as well as monuments recording historical facts.
In addition to the existing trees, a park was created by digging out a swamp and placing a pond with water lilies, an artificial island, and a pavilion.
There is the shabby ‘Loyalty’ tower and the newly erected ‘War Veterans Monument’.
