I have to say, I was pleasantly impressed. The station is clean, organized and well-maintained. The evening and night views here are a thing of beauty!
The whole place is well-lit and easy to navigate. It is spacious, with plenty of seats in case you need to wait for sometime before you travel.
In addition, to the overall positive experience, there are several quick food options available, including a few coffee shops. Being able to grab a quick bite and coffee before your train or bus arrives is a convenient bonus!

The station is well equiped for the tourist and travellers. Plenty of clean toilet, easy paths to push the luggages around. Automatic doors for those who have huge items. Many food options to choose from at all price point. There is many screens telling you the platform of the next KTX or str trains to bring you to the next destination. The staffs are helpful as well4

Both SRT and KTX trains pass through Dongdaegu station.
A lot of the signage are in both Korean and English, so there should be no issues for foreigners to get around easily.
The station is large and spacious, and has plenty of shops for food, snacks, drinks and souvenirs. The challenge is deciding on what to get before hopping on the train.4

It's one of the busiest train station in South Korea. Like every other stations, this station is also neat and clean. There are ticket counter and help desk available along with waiting rooms for the passengers. Inside the station, there are fast food shops and sitting arrangements too.4
