It's a large resort with big rooms. The rooms are a little dated and they don't provide large bath towels! The main draw during winter is the skiing. There are a good offer of food establishments and a supermarket to get groceries or necessities. We were thankful there is a pharmacy too as we needed some medication. The slope view room offers a good view of the slopes, but the snowmobiles work through the night grooming the slopes, so if you are a light sleeper, you might have a hard time sleeping.

I was on the 20th floor of SONO Belle VIVALDI PARK Tower B, parkview, suite, for 2 nights and 3 days with my family.
When I made a reservation via phone, the kind staff advised me that Tower B is the closest to skiing facilities. I followed the staff's several suggestions and then confirmed this room.
Wow, beautiful scenery thrilled us. We really enjoyed the white colored wonderful views. Actually, the room condition was not the state-of-the-arts, but considering its price, it was acceptable.
It has a small refrigerator and an electric kettle. I could enjoy instant noodles and cool beverages. Sadly, there was no microwave in my room. This resort provides two public microwave ovens which are located near the elevator on each floor. The access elevators are segregated to low levels and high levels.
In terms of amenities, it provides soap, shampoo, and body wash. So, you need to prepare for the others, e.g., toothpaste, shaver, etc. in advance.
For your information, there is a shopping mall, VIVA PLEX mall, which connects Tower A, Tower B, and Tower C on the basement level. There are various restaurants, supermarket, coffee shops, spa, pharmacy, bowling alley, billiards room, bars, etc.
From Gangdong-gu, Seoul, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Its accessibility is one of the strong points of it. On the other hand, I saw many tourists who speak Chinese. Maybe they are here to enjoy skiing for the winter season.
It is my personal opinion that if you wish to enjoy a calm atmosphere to take a rest, you'd better consider other resorts. For enjoying ski, I would like to visit this resort again. Enjoy.

One of the nearest place to ski, coming from Seoul. Accessible and plenty of amenities and ski facilities.
Rooms: size was great. Toilet is a little small, and design abit strange with sink together in shower area. Only face towel given, please bring bath towel.
Food choices are plenty. Reasonable prices for holiday resort. There is Burger King and Starbucks.
