Location is excellent (close to some tombs and walkable to museums etc) and it is clean and gives free breakfast! Would stay again

The room is decent, but unfortunately, the air conditioner is excessively noisy, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the lavabo isn't functioning properly. However, the location is convenient for tourists as it's within walking distance of a bus stop (around 10 minutes away).
On another note, overheard that there was an incident where a receptionist was telling another guest that they were not responsible for missing luggage. It seems that despite the luggage being sent to the hotel before check-in time (which is normal in most hotels). This lack of accountability was concerning.

We found the hotel convenient and comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything one would need during a stay, and then some. There's a simple breakfast available each morning with coffee /tea, eggs and toast. The only drawback was the design of the bathroom units, which meant that we could sometimes hear the neighbours' shower and running water, but it wasn't too bothersome in the end. The hotel staff are lovely, helpful and speak enough English. I think we would stay here again.

Good location being near the express Bus terminals-Within walking distance. Laundry is free here. Breakfast is simple. A lot of people get around via bicycle here so there are some rental shops nearby.

Sugar Hotel was quite clearly in its past a love hotel. However, this in of itself isn’t a bad thing, it’s not quite as seedy as we think of it as in the west either. When we stayed it seemed like it was almost entirely tourists staying.
Rooms: Interesting to say the least, all quite unique which is kind of neat and very spacious, the beds are understandably quite good. You can cast to the TV on the unique wifi per room which is useful for foreigners for YouTube, Netflix etc. I don’t think the jacuzzis work though and it’s all quite dated/old. The main downside is how it’s loud at night though.
Service: Weak breakfast which is done in slots and generally nothing special, staff were okay but not overly welcoming. However, free laundry was much appreciated and good.
Location: the location is good in that it’s close to the main bus stop meaning lots of options of buses to go to all the sites near and far & shuttle to KTX station. However, it is in the red light district still. Plus side again being though is you can walk to a lot of sites too.
