We stayed a week in a family suite. Danyang is a fantastic place - the city of flowers on the shores of a narrow lake. Very walkable, with walking paths across the street that go down to the shore and paths along the street.
Sono has a number of hotels in Korea. This is one of the oldest. Our family suite had a kitchenette, with a good size refrigerator and a small 2-burner stovetop. There was a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen and a good size living room with a large couch.
The main bedroom had a half bathroom and there was a full bathroom when you entered the suite as well. The second bedroom was ondol style. From the living room and balcony we had great views of the city and the lake.
Like the other Sono properties we have stayed at, the rooms are in need of a refresh and renovations. That said, there is a lot to like about this property and the fantastic location:
Lots of parking, free.
A small water park
Restaurants in the basement level as well as shops, games, singing rooms for karaoke
A fantastic bakery with top quality goods, that offered a big discount after 7pm

Great location in danyang with a pool and restaurants. The restaurants all close between 7-8 but there's a convenience store. I booked a package that came with two free pool passes. The pool was enjoyed by my kids but it wasnt amazing. Overall a good price and a nice location for a trip.

This place is a joke… positive side first: the rooms are a great size, the hotel itself is big, views are great, staff nice enough.
On the other hand. They refused to give us a remote for the air conditioner when it’s so stuffy in the room due to heated floor. They said to us to “open the door”, which I would normally be okay with, but in this case, the air quality was very poor, so we didn’t want to. We just had to turn it on manually and suffer in the heat.
Secondly, we asked for an extra pillow, and it seemed like we were asking for the world. Because we had booked the cheapest room, we weren’t allowed another pillow apparently, to which I said to them, it’s just a pillow…? They eventually gave us one.
In other words, this place does not care about the comfort of the guests, just because they know that everyone will stay there as it’s the only hotel. Ridiculous.
