Lovely place to stay! Room was clean and functional. Bed quite comfortable, full bath was a sink / shower combo with drain in floor - small but quite serviceable. Grounds are pretty and location is fantastic. Host was absolutely lovely- helpful, friendly. Breakfast was plentiful (with lots of fruit!) and while simple it became our favorite meal of the day.

Very well located, within walking distance to the beautiful ancient tombs, Donggung palace, Wolji pond, Pink Muly field, Hwangnidan shopping and food streets. We booked a double room but got upgraded into a family room. Little space for luggage but nonetheless cosy and had all that we needed. Every bed came with a heated blanket which helped a lot as the weather was very cold. Breakfast is simple buffet style. Fruits, egg, cereal and sandwiches. Lady boss is very kind and helpful. Booked a cab for us and walked with us to wait for cab to Ktx station.

Delightful. This is a small, family-run hanok hotel. It's in a perfect walkable location between Gyeongju's two large archaeology parks and near many bus stops. It's much quieter than the frenetic neighborhood just to the west, but one can still walk out to a convenience store, coffee, or restaurant.
The hanok is meticulously clean. And the courtyard garden reflects a lovely artistic sensibility. It felt very personal and very personable.
And the best part of the stay was breakfast. Everything was delicious, and there were so many fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy. Imagine being in the kitchen of your mom, except she is a consummate hostess capable of feeding 12+ people without a fuss. We had so much energy for our day!
The rooms are small, as would be expected for a hanok. For 1-2 people traveling together, they are perfect. For a family with children, a few nights is charming and helps one feel the atmosphere of this lovely city. But a longer stay might grow difficult unless 2 rooms were available.
We would certainly stay again should we have the chance.

Beautiful and atmospheric place to stay. Small room, more Korean style, but clean with all necessary equipment: TV, air conditioner, fridge. Privat toilet.
