I booked the "King Suite" for 5 nights and it was probably the best accommodation that I've experienced in Gwangju. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with an extra working space in the living room. The control panel for the lights was a bit weird, because when I turned everything on/off, I could hear clicking noises in the ceiling or walls for a period of time. This kind of disturb my attempt to sleep each night. Wi-fi connection was great, as expected from South Korea. The staffs were accommodating, but please do note that some of them might not be that good in English.
Since the most efficient way to go here is with a taxi (at least IMO), make sure that you mention "Ramada Plaza Chungjangno" to the driver, as there is another Ramada Plaza in Seo-gu area (which is on the opposite side of the city).5

If you visit Kwang-Ju, South Korea for the first time, this hotel might be a good place to stay. Clean, well organized and English speaking staff put you at ease.
