I was able to stay last minute with family who booked some rooms (paying a small fee of course), but the couch was actually comfier than some beds I’ve slept in in hotels.
Service was overwhelmingly great. It was my first time at such a high-scale hotel, so I was caught a little off guard. But I applaud the training and courtesy of the staff!
The breakfast buffet was impressive, with so much variety.
Having the shuttle was pretty helpful to go out and come back, though be careful if you stay out late because you’ll have to walk back all the way!
Oh and the burger we got for room service I HAVE to point out - was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Period.5

I have to say the service here is top notch. Foreigner friendly and they put some much effort in their service. They even stored our luggage for us when we went to Jeju. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I ever had in terms of food quality, service and views (they change your cutlery every time you get up). Bed was super comfortable but room was a bit small compared to my other stays in the Korea. Location is up on a hill so it takes it is a bit of a walk to get down to the station. There is also a lovely walking path behind the hotel with views and sculptures. 9/10 I would definitely recommend a stay at this iconic Seoul hotel and I would definitely return.5

I stayed in at least dozens of 5 star hotels, but man.....the Shilla Seoul hotel is one of the best hotels in the world. I garontee it! Rooms, Views, Facilities, Service, Restaurants, Duty free shopping center.. everything about this place is a 5 star at superior quality... tradition and modernity coexist. I'm this wonderful hotel. If you are first visiting Korea, try this hotel, and you will fall in love. Amazing hotel!!!5

I love the outdoor swimming pool. The temperature of the water is warm, so it's good to use in spring, and it's not cold because there's a heater on the sunbed.5

We had a short stay with The Shilla Seoul and we hopped it would have been longer. Received a warm welcome by Ryan, a warmer stay enhanced with all the smiles and courteous service received and warmest adieu we received from Mr. Sido.
The staff across all dept, front office, F&B, housekeeping and all the blackened, a Huge Thank You.
The breakfast spread is Grand. They’re all day dining a fantastic pick for a soulful meal. The library, charmed by the live music perfect to unwind .
We Loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
