Hi, I'm a local here. Hwaam Cave is one of the greatest places to visit in Jeongseon. It is a nature landscape famous for its big cave. I think the admission fee is reasonable. It takes about 4,000 to 7,000 won. When it comes to reservation, you don't have to make a reservation in advance. I recommend this place especially for families. To go to Hwaam Cave , it is better to take a bus than taxi. If you use bus, it takes 120 minutes from Gohan police substation. Also, it takes about 4,000 won for the service. The nearby restaurant you can go is 'Ssangbongkuri Restaurant'. It is korean traditional restaurant. In this restaurant you can try 'Rice with thistle', 'spicy sausage stew' and 'boiled chicken'. I recommend 'Rice with thistle'. It's tasty and not-spicy. It takes around 9,000 won for 1 serving. It's walkable from Hwaam Cave. If I were you, I would go to Hwaam Cave in June, because you can best enjoy Hwaam Cave in summer. The weather in summer is nice. It's moderate and sunny, but there can be a shower. If you go to Hwaam Cave, you can enjoy it regardless of the season, and you can experience horror in summer. In addition, if you go to Hwaam Cave in any season, you should be careful because it is cold and slippery inside.

Jeongseon Hwaam Cave The entrance is on a hill, so you have to walk a long way to get there, so you can also take the monorail, which costs a fee. Cave entrance fee is 7,000 won per adult. No, it's expensive to see just one cave. I thought so When I actually looked inside, the stairs were installed so well that I thought 7,000 won was cheap. I was surprised at how well decorated it was and how deep it was. It is said that the total length is about 1,800m and it takes over an hour to see it. Wear shoes that are comfortable for walking, such as sneakers or hiking shoes, as much as possible.

The large "room" toward the end of the exhibit was impressive! They had a lot of extras added in for entertainment as well.
