I didn't like crowds, so I looked for the Goseong area instead of the Yangyang area and made a reservation before visiting. They taught me the theory of surfing well and the atmosphere of the shop itself was really nice.
I was only planning to go surfing once, but I ended up going surfing twice, and ended up coming back two weeks later haha.
If you are looking for surfing in the Goseong area, go here!5

The shop is located in an unfamiliar place, but I purposely go there and take the lessons :-) Perhaps because it is a beach with few people, the water is clean and pleasant, and the water is shallow, so I didn't feel burdened when taking the introductory lesson. The owner was kind and I liked that he taught me step by step in detail during the class, starting with the basics! I was able to make good memories of my trip to Gangwon-do by taking videos and photos from time to time during the course.
And above all, there is a cute puppy in the hall haha🐶🐶
I highly recommend it to anyone considering getting into surfing and taking hands-on lessons.5

I didn't like the hectic and noisy places that are typical of tourist destinations, so I looked into places not far from Sokcho and found this place. I had a perfect holiday in a beautiful and secluded sea! In particular, the boss teaches us carefully from basic training to practical training. When I arrived, I was afraid to try surfing, but the water at Baekdo Beach was not deep and the owner came along and gave me solid coaching, so I was able to get into surfing safely. It's inconvenient to have to take a car to get to downtown Sokcho, but the neighborhood is quiet and cute, so it's great for a walk, and personally, it was just the space I was looking for. The accommodation is also clean. I had a good night's sleep after surfing. 200% intention to visit again.5

After visiting last year, I visited again this year!
I was originally afraid of the sea, but with the owner and a surfboard, I was able to play with peace of mind. The classes are taught so thoroughly and in detail that you can pretend to know them in front of your friends!! I gained confidence that I could ride even though I was not physically fit. It's great not only for surfing but also for going and relaxing. The interior is well-decorated, so you can relax and take a nap in the hammock as quietly and peacefully as if you were at a cafe. There is also a dog named Leo in the yard!!!!
