The owner is the nicest person in Korea! He was so helpful, helping us plan our trip, and even gave restaurants recommendations around. Breakfast was perfectly delivered straight to your room. the room itself was uniquely designed, with the best coffee. thanks a lot

I stayed here with my sister's family and our father for two nights. The decor was so charming and well appointed. The common area downstairs had coffee/tea, games and plenty of visitor guides. The host was so nice and accommodating. He speaks English well and has great local recommendations. I highly recommend this place for international visitors, that are traveling by car (there is a bus, but I can't speak to its reliability and the location is not in walking distance to much) This kind of place is right up my alley. There are not many rooms, so feels more intimate, and in a quiet neighborhood with bucolic views of the surrounding farmland. A short walk down the street is a very old hanok that can be viewed from the outside. Breakfast is brought to your room and made to order by the host every morning. If you have a large appetite, you may not be satiated, but it's enough to get you going. I had no complaints, and I love the personal touch he puts into the garnishes :) I would absolutely come here again and I would recommend it to all my friends who enjoy staying with a friendly host. The only thing to consider is the location if you are traveling by public transportation and have a strict itinerary.

My family visiting from the US stayed for three nights in August 2023. JuHa, the host, greeted us upon arrival with great English skills and a briefing about the area's sites and restaurants with maps and addresses included. He and his wife were so friendly and helpful. Any time I had a question or needed help with Korean, he was on the spot to lend a hand. A very restful place to stay.

One of the highlights of our trip to Korea. Very friendly owner who helped us out with ordering food and public transport. They also served a large breakfast every morning, which was great fuel for our hiking in Seoraksan NP. They had a baby crib available as well, which we didn't get anywhere else.

Really nice, clean and beatiful palce to stay in Sokcho. Our Host is the kindest and most helping person I've known. Tasty breakfast! Its around 20 min ride from a bus terminal plus 5 min walk from bus stop to place. Host is speaking in english so commucation was easy. He recommended nice places to visit in sokcho and draw evrything on map. 10/10 👌
