This is a very beautiful Hanok Village indeed. Rent a bicycle for 2 at 20,000 won. Need to take shuttle bus to the village after buying entrance ticket. Love this place.

Beautiful village! We spent a few hours walking around, following the tour suggested on the guide. From the ticket office we walked through a little forest to reach the village. You can view traditional houses, there are lots of little cafes and also a shop selling handmade pottery. There is also the option to take the ferry to reach the other side of the river, and to rent bicycles to go around the village and see the various confucious academies.

Took Uber from Andong downtown, cost about 12 euros, they dropped us off at the ticket office (5000 won for foreigners) , which also has the free shuttle bus to the village (about 1 km away). The village had cafes and souvenir shops and bikes available for rent. Was nice to walk around.
There is a 4km hike through the fields and the forest to Byeongsan-seowon a neo-confucian academy (one of 16 in S. Korea, all-together with the UNESCO world cultural heritage status). We were stupid enough to do this with a stroller. Doable but it's not easy. The entry to the academy is free. And views are stunning. We didn't meet a single other person the whole way.
We couldn't find an Uber or taxi on the other side already at 5 pm. The last Bus departs at 15:30. Luckily, we found a family to drive us to town. Most tourists on this side were locals.

Andong Hahoe Village is famous for Hahoe Mask Dancing, which is one of Korea's intangible cultural treasures. You can experience the authentic village culture by visiting Hahoe Mask Village. Additionally, there's a world Mask museum featuring various masks from different countries. A bus from Andong station to Hahoe Mask Village runs once an hour. Try to arrive there in the morning for the best experience.
