Best for a 2~3 days of full relaxation completely separated from city-life. The hotel has a variety of programs including yoga, free of additional charge. Also notable that you can use spa as much as you want. Room services are not available, so you’ll have to take to-go foods from the cafe at 1F.

Had a wonderful 4D3N experience at Park Roche to just chill and immerse in their wellness programme (both facilities and activities). Food at Park Cafe L1 is pretty good. Downside : no amenities nearby so transportation to places of interests can be an issue unless you have a car (we moved around via taxi). Service from the hotel staff was generally good… and we are especially thankful to Jae Young (who speaks fluent English 👍), Mr Daesu Won, and Leo Jeon whom all gone the extra mile to assist us with some logistical arrangements!감사합니다

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Roche.
It's in the middle of the mountains of Gangwon-do, so we did pretty much everything inside the resort.
They have pools both in and out doors. We especially enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi at night, where it can get a little chilly after sunset even in late July.
Their food was great, both dinner and breakfast.
They also offer free yoga, meditation classes.
The room was spacious and clean, but no bath tub.
In summary, we enjoyed every minute of our time at Park Roche, and we're def coming back here!

[January, 2022] Five stars for the vibe/customer service/restaurant foods vs.
** Two stars for their efforts of the sustainability; there are no recycling bins around the hotel so guests can’t separate waste; I wish they get rid of single-use plastic water bottles. That said, it’s an excellent idea that they use a paper to-go cup lid.
[August, 2020] Five stars; expensive but not overpriced.

The rooms are very neat and design is modern with a scandinavian touch. Very pleasant stay.
However, customer service is not on par with the room rates. Also the resort capacity seems to be overestimated.
Arriving on a Saturday at earliest checkin-time, we were unable to book any massage or the private jacuzzi for a timeslot during our stay, as it was already fully booked. We even add to put ourselves on a waiting list before we could actually talk to the reception desk! Same for breakfast on next day, we had to wait 15 mn because the staff couldn't clean tables fast enough. (I am not blaming the staff, they're probably understaffed)
Also the parking was full when we came back from dinner outside, so we had to wait 20mn to get a parking slot...
Also, no room service. The on-site food options are very limited and if you want some coffee or beer, it is completely overpriced (W12,000) and you have to get it yourself on 1st floor on top of that! Are they expecting us to bring our own food or to cook in the room at a hotel which charges 400,000W / night ?
So the experience could have been great because the building and rooms are great but it ended up very frustrating.
