Oak Valley is the family resort with Seosansoo Golf and Resort. It is only a 80-minute drive from Seoul and is a resort complex with leisure facilities for Ski, Golf, Swimming as well as accommodation for Ski and Golf village. This resort in nature presents a Disconnect to Connect for the relaxation and rest of life in nature and art. The noble village is renovated one with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and separate living room and dining area with kitchen, fridge and microwave. Even though it is not so luxurious, it is comfortable and convenient with many shops and restaurants, arcade and game rooms in the village center. Unlike other ski resorts, the advantage is that it is not so much crowded and close to Seoul. There is Museum SAN which presents peaceful meditation with the legendary Ando Tadao and James Turrel. The resort has the many golf courses incl. the luxurious Seongmunan CC which is one of the 4 premium public golf courses in Koreq, along with Seosansoo, Cascadia and Southcape CC.

We had a blast at Oak Valley over the winter break! The apartment was roomy, but they didn't do daily cleaning like other spots, so pack your own toiletries and towels. The real fun was in the activities. Snowboarding was a hit, and the school got us an instructor in a snap. The snow slide and playground were a hit with the kids. Loads of eateries were around, but we missed out on exploring beyond the resort since we didn't have a car. The museum and Stonecreek cafe sounded cool though!

When you are burned out and space out sometimes, it's time that you need to take a rest. Well, I should say, sometimes you deserve to live high on the hog. Yes, Oak Valley might be a good choice for you. From Gangdong-gu, Seoul to Oak Valley, it takes around 1 hr and 30 mins by car. I stayed in Oak Valley for 2 nights and 3 days at Golf Village, Condominium A, at the end of the year with my family. For your information, this resort has 2 villages: Golf Village and Ski Village. From Golf Village to Ski Village, it took approximately 10 minutes by car. My room, which has 2 rooms and 2 washrooms, has been renovated recently. The room condition was acceptable. It has a refrigerator, a microwave and a water boiling pot. It has several restaurants, a convenience store and a boiling club with 8 lanes. The beautiful view will make you feeling comfortable. Enjoy.

Beautiful view from our room. They only provide hand towel size bath towels. No shampoo conditioner or anything extra provided. The room was tidy but you can tell there has not been much deep cleaning just a quick wipe down. One of the two showers drained very slow.
