I went to Yanggu to pick up my son for his last vacation... I stayed at the hotel for a day while touring the artificial islands of the Korean peninsula... It's a bit far from the city center, but it's quiet and quiet. The building and facilities are a bit old... There don't seem to be many customers... The breakfast is dried pollack hangover soup, but you have to make a reservation... The rooms inside are also a bit old... It's okay to spend a quiet day, but it's okay to stay in the center of the city. If you want to find food, go to downtown Yanggu...^^

A quiet place with a river flowing gently next to it
This was a place I wanted to stay when I came to Yanggu, but it was available because it was a weekday.
I made a reservation for two days.

It was an ok place to stay. The front desk were very helpful and Brian spoke very good English. The rooms were ok I had a leaking toilet and some of the flooring had issues. Even though the temp was cool mostly outside. It was very hot in the room and it was central controlled. I wish they had a fan or gave you control of your temperature. As for the cleaning of the rooms. Done on a very erratic schedule if there was a schedule. My buddies room was not touched for five days. Towels were hand towel size for showers. No bath size towels were ever given to me in one months time. They had 4 washing machines and 2 of the 4 worked without issue. The other two left your clothes soaked. Clothing line area for drying. Breakfast is not included and I don't recommend paying the extra $5,000 wan for breakfast there. Go to town instead you have better food to choose from. I did drink beers at the bar and it was good price was decent no complaints if you are good with beer only. Overall, it was an ok place to stay an for that area I think it is the best option, but when compared to other hotels I've stayed in. It has lots of room for improvement.
