Yes this is an older hotel but very well equipped beds comfortable & our room has the deepest bath which was put to good use. Breakfast is a vase array of local & western food

Right by the lake. Great view and quiet. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the room. We had to ask for a fan to keep cool during the night. Clean and comfortable otherwise. Staff were helpful especially when I needed help with finding a doctor. Ordered me a taxi and told me if the clinic was unable to communicate then to tell them to call them so they could translate for me.

The staff and service are excellent. The hotel is located just around the corner, literally, from Insadong-ro. My only complaint was the air conditioning is turned off all day so the room is very hot, 25c/77f. Several hours after turning the AC on, the room was 24c/75f. By morning the temperature was even higher because they shut the AC off at night. The room never cooled off. The second night I asked for a fan which made it more bearable.

Sadly this hotel needs a bit of improvement, quite dated and showing signs of age. The staff are fine but last night one of our meals was forgotten for half an hour, so it only arrived after we asked twice. We felt that the kitchen was possibly under-staffed and they were struggling to cope with the demand. The breakfast is basic, fruits were frozen and took ages to warm up to become edible. Despite all that, it’s a good location for local attractions.
