Very nice and conveniently located Business Hotel. Rooms are clean, very functional and according to Asian standards sized nicely. Bed is comfy and offers sufficient space even for taller persons (I am 192cm).

I stayed at the Grand Mercure Changwon on a business trip to the area. I had just flown in from the east coast of the USA so I had major jetlag. The hotel was very quiet which allowed me to actually get some sleep. The buffet breakfast was also very high quality with plenty of choices for all tastes.

Hotel Next to a mall consist of many shops and a lotte supermarket. Has indoor heated swimming pool but you MUST wear swim cap to swim, else just walk in pool like an idiot. Hip deep, 20m at most. Bed room super clean, expected of a 5s. Has a nice tub to soak, classy. Shower head water super strong like wash car standard, so that good. No toothbrush! U gotta buy it. Mini fridge and safe deposit standard. No heated floor or bed. Buffet breakfast is western spread, there are only 3 types of local fruits.

There is no staff to help pick up and bring luggage to the hotel upon arrival. The entire hotel's waiting room for check-in time only has 2 benches, the waiting position for guests is very cold. There is no welcome drink. The room is extremely simple, there are no night lights or reading lights at the bed, no electrical outlet to charge the phone next to the bed, not worthy of a 5 star rating, very disappointing for a Grand Mercure brand guest. .
