Came here in March by bus from Gyeongju city.
Beautiful place, large compound with many buildings.
Slow walk around to enjoy the serenity of the place.
The bus ride itself was interesting, can see the country side.
Also spent some time walking through a park to reach the temple.
Unfortunately very few cherry blossoms were flowering.

This is a beautiful temple on the side of a mountain, of which there are many in Korea. But there are few that match the history of this temple.
It is relatively easy getting here by public transit, as the buses come here relatively frequently. Although it often very crowded here, it is still well worth visiting if you are in Gyeongju

Very beautiful temple with lots of interesting items to see. This place are crowded on weekend. Make my mind calm and peace.

We enjoyed our time at this small but important temple.
We went mid week, and there were a lot of tourists and school children, which made it difficult to have an emersive experience.
Not a lot of information, so going with a guide or hiring an audio guide is beneficial.
Toilets were well maintained.

Bulguksa offers the most similar temple experience you get from nice Kyoto temples - it has beautiful little pond, bridge, and some background. However, I wish there was more information and context provided and kept it more to being a historical site. For example, I did not apprecire kids' pictures hanging up on the temple walls.
