This was a lovely hotel to stay in and very good value. The couple running the hotel were very friendly and sweet, and got us checked in quickly after a long trip. The rooms and public areas are all very new-looking and clean. The rooms were comfortable with good heating, including floor heating. Water was hot and bathroom very clean as well. The rooms are really well equipped, like many places in South Korea even the budget hotels have all kinds of toiletries, accessories and supplies in the room. Breakfast is included - either noodles or toast and the lady manager will make eggs, simple but very good value as an inclusion. The hotel is in a good location - just a couple of minutes walk from bus stops to or from the main bus terminal and train station, and less than 10 minutes walk to the market and centre of town. I honestly can't think of any negative feedback to give at all. We really enjoyed our stay.

Service for Happy Q Motel is out of this world. Had my bag bust open in Seoul when a little old lady took too long in the subway and the door closed on my bag and I ripped it open trying to get fully into the subway train. The Lady at the happy Q offered to sew it for me and charged no extra fee. 10/10 customer service for sure and that includes breakfast. I don’t know what other reviews on the breakfast are talking about but fried eggs with your choice of cereal, milk and OJ with toast and Jam? I guess those other people woke up on the wrong side of bed or something because that is the only reason I can discern. The mattresses are less comfortable than most are used to, that is all up to preference. Overall wonderfully personable motel (because there is no elevator) and the small town Korean vibes you want when you visit Andong. Would definitely book again if visiting for vacation.

Loved it! Beautiful big rooms with all comforts. I didn't try the breakfast, don't know even if It's present cause we left without trying it. The lady at the entrance is very nice and polite. Best hotel in Korea I've been so far for the price. Definitely recommended 100%!

Beds are hard as wood and covered with plastic. There is no real bedlinen and you need to trust that the shiny blanket provided is washed after each single guest. Not a single word in English is spoken. Reception staff is not always there. Bathroom urgently needs refurbishment. Towels are super thin and small.
