Took ITX-CheongChun 2070 from Chuncheon to Yongsan on 20 Apr 24. An E-ticket had been issued via KORail APP in advance. Otherwise, buying a ticket from the ticketing machines for foreigners must be paid by cards. Cash is not accepted.
The trip with my 700c bike was an easy one while I had reserved a seat and the first and eighth carriages of ITX CheongChun have 4 bike racks each. A sign posted at the bike racks had provided following information in Korean. The google translate of the guidelines are as follows for information (as at 20 Apr 24):
Guide to carrying bicycles
1. Bicycle racks (cars 1 and 8) can only be used by customers who have made a priority reservation.
2. For other bicycles, only folding bicycles can be carried and ridden, and must not cause inconvenience to the passage of other customers.
3. To prevent safety accidents, please observe the following.
○ Securely secure it to a fixture in a designated location within the vehicle.
○ Riding a bicycle is prohibited within the station or premises.
○ When riding a bicycle, please pay special attention to prevent safety accidents such as getting caught in the door.
○ To prevent safety accidents, use of elevators and escalators is prohibited within the station premises.
○ You must ensure that it does not interfere with other train operations or cause harm to other passengers.
4. Damages to the passenger and other customers resulting from the carelessness of the passenger carrying the bicycle are the responsibility of the passenger carrying the bicycle.

A great place to go on an outing at least once. It's not far from Seoul and there are a lot of things to see and eat nearby.

There are too few amenities. The owner of a nearby restaurant said it was empty because it used to be a military base, so it would be nice if Legoland or some other facility was developed.
